How to install the runtime for Vixsoft products?

 Double click the setup file which is located on the Sculptor CD.



 When the installation has started you will be required to click next to continue.



 Accept the Licence Agreement.



 Select a location for the install to be saved, when finished continue by clicking next.



 Make sure only runtime is selected, when done click next to continue.




 Click next to continue.



 Installing.




Installation is now complete.

 

 Now click on Start > Programs > Sculptor 5.6.2 > Configure Sculptor.




 When Sculptor Registry Configuration Editor opens, choose from the menu Edit > Registry Configuration.



 Enter the serial number and activation key which can be found on the Sculptor version 5 activation key a4 sheet supplied with the Sculptor CD, if this cannot be found please contact support to get given another copy.



 Enter 1 in the concurrent users.



Once these steps are done click OK and return to desktop.

 

 Go back to the desktop and right click my computer.



 Click Properties.

(A Screen will then appear with the properties for My Computer).

 

 Select the advanced tab (Top Right).

Environment Variables

 

 Add a new system variable (bottom box) by clicking on new.



 Variable naming and setting a value.




 You are required to do 3 variables

 

Variable Name: scmaster

Variable Value: NetBIOS name of server: c:\masters path i.e. server1:\c:\vixsoft\masters

 

Variable Name: SCTERMW

Variable Value: MSWIN

 

Variable Name: SCULPTOR

Variable Value: C:\sculptor (or location on local machine)


Files and File Locations

 

Now install the CD provided by Vixsoft.
